What is Independence at 61 years ?
To answer that we need to look post-Independence Day activities,
1964 - Zambia is born from Northern Rhodesia
1965 to 1971 - The economy of Zambia booms
1973 - Zambia is turned to a One-party participatory state
1974 to 1978: Copper Prices & Oil Prices Plumit
1980 - 1989: Life becomes economically unbearable leading to riots
1990 - A Multi Party state is formed shaping current economic activities until this day
As Beyond Bookkeeping Limited the below are the things that we can attribute to the said celebrations
Financial Independence: as a company limited by shares, you are free from interferences from a financial
Industrial Independence: Looking at it from the Logistical side of our business. The ability to choose what cargo and route we wish to service is freedom from industrial manipulation and biases is worth celebrating
Independence from political / government influence is also something to celebrate as an SME.
Digitalization: In the republic of Zambia, we also celebrate the use digital platforms to efficiently conduct business without censorship
Some of the above mentioned may seem trivial to some but it is worth noting that republic has shaped a system where support is rendered where possible but above all , partnerships are formed, freedoms are upheld and business flows.
